If only I had six other hands - thus making me a sotong: octopus - for those of u who aren't familiar with the Singapore language jargon. Yup, imagine that - having eight hands, I could also run my other projects and the 170.com radio matters in a jiffy.

Anyways, the "test drive" launch is almost coming to an end by this week, and come this Monday (290609)... THE day:)... I'm more at ease now - with all technical glitches sorted out, and my KamaRama Show has been revised and reformatted...yey:)

The show consists of two segments: lol (LoungeOutLoud) with DKA (pronounced as Dee-Kah) feat. cool Jazz, Funk, World & Electronica (from 6pm to 8pm weekdays) and LaidBack (NO! Not Lay Ur Back On Me!)- it's about NOTHING but SOMETHINGS under sun - with studio guests:) from 8pm to 9pm. And yes, we miss that DIRRTY (manja)gal (Jules Jong) who left the170.com radio recently - to pursue her other NON-DIRRTY stuff:)

For now it's just Me, (our Queen Blogger) Vtay and (no, not Adam Ant but)ND Ant...lol! (laugh out loud! and lol!LoungeOutLoud! uhm...I'm promoting the lol session what...)

I know I know! I didn't come on air today!! I won't be on air tomorrow either... But at least I'm still writing something here!

First and foremost, I WILL be back on air on Monday... so please tune in to my show at 12pm!

So... what's been going on behind the scenes of The170.com? All I can say is... A LOT A LOT A LOT! We've all been busy fine-tuning our stuff... Kamal's been doing a freakin' awesome job with all the audio stuff... sweepers and sound clips and all... So glad to have him on the team. Actually, its really a blessing that I'm able to work with Kamal, Andy and Jules on this. Really glad they can tolerate me too!... not like they really have a choice anyways -_-" teehee.

I'm really REALLY new to radio, so I'm still pretty much learning and trying to be up to standard... so please show me some support whenever possible because that'd REALLY boost my morale!!

Anyways, I'll talk to you real soon... next monday at 12pm! If the weather's totally warm, please order lunch or something, then stay in your office and tune in my show! I promise I won't tell you gross stuff and make you lose your appetite. Let me accompany you through lunch time alrighty? (=

The number 8 – a lucky number: a good day to kickstart things – especially new ones like our online radio, the170.com. First thing that came to mind when I joined the team was the Audio Post Production Works: Station IDs, DJ IDs, Trailers and Sweepers, producing these, with a certain time-frame, involve a grueling process, especially for a new online radio station.

Rewind - prior to official launch date: All Hell broke loose (during the first two weeks – I think) but we finally found IT – THE (most hardworking) team: Vtay, Jules and myself (including ND, our Boss).

Two/Three Days - prior to official launch date: The painstaking process began – the post production works; V-Tay, our Media/PR Queen handling all print matters – offline and online (and biz cards too! Yey!); Jules with the programming; ND with the final technical-set up inspection and I, with the audio post production works.

I am sure all of us had mixed feelings about it , at first – nervous (with the capital N) + excited. As for me, I am not nervous going On Air live but I do get a bit frustrated when the occasional streaming goes BITCH on me.
